Taiko Grant Cycle 3: $25M to Support Community Builders and Partners
Today, we are excited to announce the Taiko 2025 Grant Fund, with a total of $25 million in funding!
Our objective remains the discovery and support of innovative projects and community members that advance the Taiko ecosystem. Applicants may also be eligible for another ongoing initiative we are running, Taiko Takeoff which is designed to support projects and create opportunities for our community.
This grant program is designed to fund developers, researchers, and builders working on groundbreaking ideas in DeFi, AI, RWA, SocialFi, Gaming, and beyond.

This grant program is designed to fund developers, researchers, and builders working on groundbreaking ideas in DeFi, AI, RWA, SocialFi, Gaming, and beyond.
Open-source requirements
Unless agreed otherwise, all smart contracts and frontend code must be open-sourced from the project’s inception.
Taiko as a priority platform
Projects involving dApps must choose Taiko as one of their first platforms, but they can also deploy and integrate on other L1/L2/L3s.
Investment opportunities
Taiko Labs or its associated entities receive the right to invest up to $250K USD in the project’s subsequent fundraising round, up to one year post-grant acceptance (if applicable).

How to apply
The Grants Council will review applications on a rolling basis and reach out to applicants. Join us in building the based future!
- Starting today, applications are open! Please head over to the application form and complete your submission. Be sure to include as many relevant details as possible to help us make informed decisions.
- Yes, grantees can apply for grants from other projects, given all other requirements are met.
- Yes, grantees and Taiko must establish a formal legal agreement detailing the expectations and responsibilities of both parties. All grantees will also have to undergo KYC/KYB checks.
- If you are awarded a grant, you may not disclose this (including any details such as the number of vested or received tokens) until we have done so.
- We look favorably upon Taiko-tailored projects, i.e., those that truly take advantage of Taiko’s strengths and design decisions, such as Ethereum-equivalence, based design, and permissionless proposing/proving.
